Are you ready to take the next step in your veterinary career and lead a team of dedicated professionals? VCA Animal Care Center of Sonoma County is seeking an *experienced Technician Supervisor* to join our leadership team in our state-of-the-art, *24-hour emergency and specialty hospital*.

About Our Facility:
* 40+ years serving the Sonoma County community near Santa Rosa
* Advanced diagnostic and therapeutic equipment including MRI, CT, Digital Radiography, Ultrasound, Endoscopy, and Fluoroscopy
* Specialized services in Surgery, Neurology, Cardiology, Internal Medicine, and Emergency and Critical Care

Leadership Role Overview: As Technician Supervisor, you will:
* Oversee and mentor a team of veterinary technicians
* Ensure high-quality patient care and client satisfaction
* Collaborate with veterinarians and hospital leadership to maintain operational excellence
* Drive continuous improvement in technical skills and protocols
* Foster a positive, supportive work environment that promotes professional growth

Key Responsibilities:
* Manage technician scheduling, including weekends and holidays
* Coordinate with other supervisors to optimize patient care
* Oversee technical procedures, including radiography, venipuncture, and emergency response
* Implement and maintain quality control measures for technical services
* Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to team members

Qualifications:
* *Registered Veterinary Technicia*n (preferred or working towards)
* *3+ years of veterinary experience*, with demonstrated leadership skills
* Strong organizational and communication abilities
* Proficiency in veterinary software and technical equipment
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and lift up to 40 pounds
