Candidates must live in the southeastern region of the US.
Expedient, a full stack cloud service provider, has an immediate need for a Solutions Architect (SA) based in the southeastern region to design and develop technical solutions for our clients. This position works directly with clients as well as the Expedient sales teams and requires a strong understanding of solution design, business, and the financial benefits of technology.
The Solutions Architect will provide deep industry perspective and expert-level knowledge to design solutions for our clients. This is the subject-matter expert for our sales teams and clients on the technology that Expedient provides and maintains.

Qualifications:

• Experience with VMware virtualization with a focus on administration and design
  
• Experience with vCloud Director, NSX, and vSAN is a plus
  
• Demonstrated experience in solution architecture and/or sales engineering
  
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills - able to explain complex concepts to a wide variety of individuals, up to C-level executives, with varying technical skills
  
• Familiarity or experience with hyperscale platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
  
• Experience and certifications such as VCP, VCAP, VCIX, VCDX, AWS Solutions Architect, or a bachelor's degree in a technical discipline
  
• Familiarity or experience with technologies like Windows, Linux, Palo Alto, Nutanix, Zerto, VMware Horizon, Citrix, Cohesity, and Commvault
  
• Familiarity with Cloud Native technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, Elastic)
  
• Understanding of switching, routing, firewalling, and load balancing
  
• Knowledge of storage technologies including RAID and Erasure Coding
  
• Understanding of network security concepts
  
• Familiarity with backup strategies and related technology
  
• Experience with disaster recovery technologies and testing
  
• An understanding of database technologies
  
  Responsibilities:
  
  
• Lead technical conversations with sales and clients to determine the technology needed for Expedient solutions
  
• Engage with clients to educate, develop, and present solutions supporting business outcomes
  
• Develop trusted relationships with client technologists and executives
  
• Collaborate with internal teams to develop new solutions
  
• Engage in continuous industry self-improvement and development
  
• Participate in client meetings, marketing events, and trade shows
  
  The estimated salary range for this role is $150K to $250K, based on experience, skills, and successes.
