We are 65ish people, mostly in Sonoma County, and we welcome candidates from all walks of life. We are hoping to find a candidate that can work out of our office at least 1-2 days/wk as our Accounting operations require some physical handling of payments. As a key member of the Accounting team, the Accounts Receivable Coordinator will be responsible for daily activities relating to AR in a high volume department. World Centric primarily sells through foodservice and retail distributors and overall collections are very low compared to other companies/industries. The ideal fit is someone who is highly organized, detail oriented, but is also comfortable communicating with all levels of an organization along with being a positive and upbeat team member.



Responsibilities for AR Coordinator include but not limited to:



  • Post ACH/wire payments. Prepare and process electronic bank deposits.


  • Reconcile credits & deductions.


  • Respond to customer credit card chargebacks.


  • Monitor A/R aging balances.


  • Follow up on past due invoices including sending statements and collections.


  • Respond to customer inquiries regarding payments and invoices.


  • File documents as needed.


  • Assist with additional projects as needed.



    Required Knowledge, Skills, and Experience for AR Coordinator



    • Bachelor's degree required, Accounting highly preferred.


    • 1-2 years minimum experience in Accounting


    • Solid understanding of US GAAP.


    • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel (intermediate), and Word.


    • Knowledge of NetSuite a plus.


    • Strong attention to detail, including accurate data entry.


    • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills.


    • Strong written, verbal communication and interpersonal skills.


    • Excellent customer service skills.


    • Ability to learn quickly and prioritize.
