Job Description:

Position Summary:Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the Team Member dining room, and properly stock all necessary items for service. Perform responsibilities in accordance with all Company standards, policies, and procedures.Essential Functions:1. Responsible for practicing, supporting, and Graton Resort & Casino's Company-wide culture and demonstrating Service Standards at all times.2. Inform immediate supervisor of any product shortages and equipment needs.3. Carry work cards at all times during shift. Serve alcohol responsibly in accordance with alcohol awareness training.4. Behave in a positive, professional manner that reflects Beyond the Best practices.5. Practice and observe safety rules and regulations and encourage others to do so. Comply with Board of Health Standards.6. Maintain personal grooming and uniform standards pursuant to Graton Resort & Casino's policies.7. Know where the MSDS booklet is located for your area.8. Display knowledge of all emergency procedures.9. Inform manager on duty of any Team Member opportunities.10. Clean each table, booth, and chair by wiping them with clean damp cloth.11. Sweep or vacuum under each table and booth.12. Maintain the supply of paper products.13. Maintain the supply of condiments.14. Prepare both regular and decaf coffee.15. Inform immediate supervisor if situations arise with fellow workers that cannot be handled directly.16. Handle any Team Member or Guest opportunities.17. Follow set schedules and specific job duties.18. Treat each Team Member with care, dignity, fairness, and respect in a Beyond the Best manner.19. Display and encourage teamwork in the department.20. Communicate on a consistent basis with all managers and keep them abreast of all department activities.21. Adhere to all policies and procedures as set forth by each Director of Food and Beverage.22. Attend daily Team Member Huddles and look at the communication boards for pertinent information.23. Follow Recipe Book and Guidelines, and have all necessary supplies to provide consistency and quality Guest Service.24. Maintain cleanliness, safety and sanitation standards in accordance with department polices and those of the Department of Health.25. Ensure that kitchen and equipment are in good working order, and that the work area is clean and hazard-free. Notify a supervisor immediately if kitchen and equipment are not in good working order.26. Possess the ability to work hands-on in any kitchen environment, including those involving a three-meal period and high volume production. Majority of the production will be to maintain appearance and cleanliness of related work areas and keep items stocked, such as, cold salads, sandwiches, cold displays, desserts, salad dressings, sliced deli meats, sliced cheese and fried, saut--ed, carved, broiled, steamed meats, fish, eggs, vegetables and poultry for guest services according to Graton Resort & Casino standards and specifications.Minimum Qualifications:1. Ability to communicate effectively with Guests, Team Members and Management in both written and verbal form.2. Must manage time effectively with minimum supervision.3. Ability to demonstrate sound judgment and mature decision-making.4. Must be able to obtain required work cards for the jurisdiction in which the property is located. Including, but not limited to, Gaming work card, Clark County Health Card, and Alcohol Awareness Card.5. Adhere to all Company and department policies and procedures as well as all Beyond the Best practices.6. Practice the Ten/Five rule consistently with all internal and external guests.7. Must demonstrate sound judgment and mature decision-making.8. Must possess and demonstrate great attention to detail in order to maintain unit's appearance and operating standards.Food Safety/Sanitation/HACCP/OSHA Guidelines1. Must be able to demonstrate and ensure that the department is within HACCP guideline2. Must ensure and comply with a safe and hazard free work environment according to the Department of Health and OSHA regulations.Physical Requirements:1. Requires normal, corrective vision range, the ability to see color and the ability to distinguish letters, numbers and symbols.2. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, push 150 to 250 lbs on a pushcart, and enter walk-ins of -10 degrees to 140 degrees with or without assistance.3. Ability to stand for duration of shift, bend, and reach to a height of 6 feet with or without assistance.4. Requires hand/eye coordination, the normal sense of smell, taste, touch, and sound.Work Conditions:Work is typically in an area, which may be unusually hot, cold, noisy, and may contain second hand smoke. Work may be performed in small areas with a 3 ft. wide access. Tasks performed from a non-sitting position. Team Members will be required to stand, walk, lift, reach, push, pull and grasp. These tasks include the maintenance and care of assigned area. Work may entail trained chemical usage. Constant contact with fellow Team Members and Guests.
