and Benefits will lead the strategy, design, and execution of
BBOT's compensation and benefits programs, ensuring they align with
the company's growth, culture, and strategic objectives. This role
requires a strategic thinker with the ability to implement
data-driven solutions in a fast-paced, evolving environment. With a
proven ability to scale compensation and benefits programs for
small or startup organizations, you will collaborate across
leadership and contribute as a hands-on leader, ensuring programs
attract, retain, and motivate top talent while supporting employee
well-being.Responsibilities
- Develop and lead BBOT's overall compensation philosophy and
strategy to attract, retain, and motivate top talent.
- Partner with leadership to ensure alignment between
compensation programs and company goals, culture, and market
competitiveness.Base Pay & Incentive Programs
- Design and oversee base salary structures, annual merit
reviews, bonus programs, and long-term incentive plans.
- Conduct industry benchmarking studies to ensure competitive pay
practices and recommend adjustments as necessary.Executive
Compensation
- Collaborate with HR and leadership teams to develop executive
compensation strategies, including equity and deferred compensation
plans.
- Partner with the Board of Directors and Compensation Committee
to ensure governance and compliance for executive pay
programs.Equity Administration
- Manage equity compensation plans, including stock options,
RSUs, and performance-based equity awards.
- Ensure compliance with legal, tax, and financial regulations
related to equity programs.Market Analysis & Benchmarking
- Conduct regular market assessments and analyze compensation
survey data to maintain competitive salary structures.
- Provide tools and insights to HR Business Partners and managers
to support informed pay decisions.Benefits Administration
- Oversee strategy, design, and administration of U.S. benefits
programs, ensuring offerings are comprehensive, competitive, and
cost-effective.
- Monitor market trends and employee needs to recommend updates
or enhancements to benefits programs, such as health, wellness,
retirement, and leave policies.
- Partner with vendors and brokers to ensure smooth delivery of
benefit services and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Lead annual benefits reviews, open enrollment processes, and
employee communication strategies to ensure understanding and
utilization of benefit offerings.Compliance & Reporting
- Prepare compensation and benefits-related materials and reports
for the Board of Directors and executive leadership.
- Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements
across compensation and benefits programs.
- Partner with the HR team to integrate compensation and benefits
strategies with broader talent initiatives, including performance
management, retention, and engagement.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to managers and employees on all
compensation and benefits-related matters.Qualifications
- 7+ years of progressive experience in compensation and
benefits, including 3+ years in a leadership role.
- Experience in biotech, pharmaceutical, or life sciences
industries is highly preferred.
- Expertise in compensation benchmarking, pay structures,
incentive program design, and benefits administration.
- Proven experience managing equity compensation programs and
ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven
approach.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the
ability to engage diverse stakeholders effectively.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic
environment.
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, Finance, Business, or a
related field; CCP, GRP, or CEBS certification is a plus.At

annual performance bonus, company equity, and generous health
benefits. Below is the anticipated salary range for candidates for
this role who will work in California. The final salary offered to
a successful candidate will depend on several factors that may
include but are not limited to the type and length of experience
within the job, type, and length of experience within the industry,
educational background, location of residence and performance
during the interview process. BridgeBio Oncology Therapeutics
(BBOT) is a multi-state employer, and this salary range may not
reflect positions based in other states.$226,000 - $260,000
