Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Labor and Delivery - Discipline: RN - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel /n Job Description/n American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a critical need Labor & Delivery position in California with night shifts and high-risk OB experience preferred. /n /n Responsibilities/n - Position is in a hospital Labor & Delivery unit - Night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, 12-hour shifts - 13-week contract assignment - Utilizes Epic EMR system - Provide care to laboring mothers, including high-risk cases - Participation in a collaborative team environment - Epic EMR experience is utilized but not explicitly required - No specific radius restrictions; local candidates are accepted at the same rate - Coverage for holiday shifts may be expected per unit needs - Candidates may not work beyond two years on assignment without a required 90-day break /n /n Requirements/n - Active CA RN license required at time of consideration - Minimum 1 year recent full-time Labor & Delivery experience within the last 3 years - Graduate of an accredited nursing program - Current BLS and Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program certifications - Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in nursing and at least 5 years of recent Labor & Delivery experience - Preferred: High-risk OB experience including 1 year within the last 2 years - Last four digits of SSN and date of birth required for consideration /n Benefits/n - High Pay and Bonuses - Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options - 401(k) Plan - Weekly Payroll Deposit - Free Online CEUs - Generous Housing Allowance - Travel and Licensure Reimbursements - Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy - Traveler Rewards and Discounts /n American Traveler Job ID P-618394.
