Dining Services Director Position Summary: The Dinning Room Supervisor is responsible for the dining room operations and resident's dining experience in the community. Ensures all server associates in the dining room adhere to community policies and procedures. Overall responsibilities include, but are not limited to; the hiring, training and management of dining room servers; sanitization of food service areas; scheduling, and regulatory compliance. • Free parking, meals, and a great team! Responsibilities of the Dining Services Director:
  • Responsible for the day to day operations and staffing for the dining venues of their community.
  • Responsibly manages and supervises all front of the house staff including scheduling, assignment, direction, performance review (including input on pay adjustments), hiring, consistent with company policy. Assist staff with front of the house operations.
  • Meet regularly with residents and family members to confirm that high satisfaction levels are maintained.
  • Work with the staff so that he/she has a clear understanding of how to provide high levels of customer service and how to create a restaurant-style dining atmosphere.
  • Ability to work all stations in the dining room.
  • Work with the Administrator and front-line staff to obtain and maintain department customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure the restaurant area is maintained at the highest levels of cleanliness and quality at all times.
  • Interview and hire staff for the dining room..
  • Conduct and participate in monthly department meetings/in-services.
  • Maintain the appropriate inventory of small wares and table ware.
  • Responsible for planning, preparation and execution special events, and theme meals.

    • a minimum of two years of experience in the foodservice industry in a supervisory role for at least one year.
