Join our Sonoma County healthcare team delivering inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation care in Northern California. Job Details Weekly Estimated Pay: $5,110 - $5,470 Location: On-site in Santa Rosa, CA (95405) — Sonoma County, Northern California Position Type: Locum tenens / per diem physiatrist (Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation) Schedule: 7-10 days per month Shifts: Monday–Friday (8:30am–4:30pm); weekend 12-hour call shifts with ~1.5 hours patient contact Guaranteed Hours: 8 per day Patient Encounters: 10–15 per shift (hospital-based PM&R / rehabilitation clinic) Start Date: July 1, 2026 Duration: Ongoing Job Requirements Active California medical license and CA DEA registration Board certified or board eligible (within 3–5 years of residency) in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R) — Physiatry Minimum 1 year clinical experience in hospital-based PM&R, inpatient rehabilitation, or acute care settings Current BLS and ACLS certifications Ability to explain any clinical practice gaps greater than 3 months Strong documentation skills in electronic medical records (EMR) and adherence to hospital policies Responsibilities Provide high-quality patient care as a physiatrist in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (inpatient and outpatient as assigned) Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations, develop and manage individualized rehabilitation plans, and coordinate discharge planning Wound care and debridement procedures are preferred but not required; manage spasticity, pain, and functional restoration interventions as appropriate.
