Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: CT Technologist - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Start Date: 04/14/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Assignment Overview - Shift: Days, 3x12hrs - Hours: 36 hrs/wk - Start Date: Apr 14, 2026 - Length: 13 weeks - Openings: 1 Description American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist with 2 years of experience for a 13-week acute care assignment in a Radiology - CT/X-Ray unit in the Sierra Nevada region of California. Details - Acute care hospital setting in a combined Radiology - CT/X-Ray unit - Cerner EMR used in this position - Preferred experience with Siemens and GE CT equipment - 12-hour shifts; AM shifts run 7:00 AM–7:30 PM or 8:30 AM–9:00 PM, and PM/graveyard shifts run 7:00 PM–7:30 AM - Current scheduling need is Thursday through Saturday, though this is subject to change - No on-call requirement Requirements - Minimum of 2 years of CT technologist experience - Active CA Rad Tech license required (license required if applicable) - CA Fluoroscopy Permit required - Current BLS, ARRT (R), and ARRT (CT) certifications required; pending certifications are not accepted - Active state license required at time of consideration; pending licenses will not be accepted - 2 professional references required: one supervisor from within the last 12 months worked, and one peer or supervisor from within the last 3 years worked (must include dates of employment and eligibility for rehire) - Copy of driver's license required for consideration Additional Information - Candidates will be sent to the manager for an interview; no pre-screening required - Completion of facility onboarding modules is required before the start of the assignment; modules take approximately 6 hours to complete - Candidates who have been directly employed (full-time, part-time, or PRN) by any facility associated with the health system within the past year are not eligible; candidates employed PRN through outside firms will be considered American Traveler Job ID P-688277.
