Date: April 6, 2026 Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Days, 8:00 AM – 4:30
PM, 5 shifts/week Position Summary: Seeking an experienced RN Case
Manager to perform chart audits, manage queries, and coordinate
care in an acute hospital setting. The RN will review charts,
facilitate meetings, and ensure compliance with hospital and
regulatory standards. Responsibilities: - Conduct chart audits,
concurrent and retrospective reviews - Manage physician queries,
both verbal and written - Review clinical documentation including
discharge summaries, H&Ps, labs, imaging, operative reports,
and physician notes - Collaborate with HIM coding staff, physician
champions, and leadership to ensure documentation accuracy -
Provide education and training to staff to improve documentation
and CDI practices - Follow HIPAA guidelines and hospital policies
Requirements: - Active California RN license - Minimum 2 years
hospital experience, preferably in acute care - Familiarity with
Epic charting system preferred - Knowledge of CPT/HCPCS, ICD-10
coding, MS-DRGs, Medicare/Medicaid guidelines - Strong
communication and meeting facilitation skills • Medical & Health
