Job Description Job Description We are hiring a locum Neuro-Spine Physician Assistant to come out for 6-months and join our team in San Francisco, CA Come live in one of the most beautiful locations in the states while allowing our team to provide top Outpatient Neuro-Spine coverage during the locum assignment. No call, All outpatient! Start: Early November End: 26-weeks Description: Provider will see only nuero-spine surgery patients, both surgical and non-surgical patients . Strictly clinic, no OR time, no inpatient, all outpatient. Provider offers support to surgeons in clinic. Surgeons/fellows will do first visit and pre-op visits, Provider will handle post-op and follow up appointments, take messages, order imaging, order medications, etc. Procedures: Bread and butter outpatient surgery procedures like staple removal, drain removal, wound care. A background in trigger point, hips, and/or knee injections is a plus. Provider may be asked to do injections if they have experience. Schedule: Fulltime (Monday Friday) Census: 20-22 patients/day in person, if taking telehealth visits it may go up to 26 Patient population/age: all adult Licensure: Will Wait for CA License for Physician Assistant! ACNPs must have CA license DEA: Required with schedule 2 and 2n Great compensation and ability to have your lodging and travel covered as well! Don't wait!
