Job Title: Pediatric Critical Care Transport Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Pediatric Critical Care Float Pool Duration: 14 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 hours (07:00 - 19:30) Experience: Minimum 5 years in Pediatric or NICU unit. License: CA RN License Certifications: AHA BLS & PALS Must-Have: - Pediatric critical care background or pediatric emergency department background. - Minimum 2 years experience as charge and/or triage in pediatric or NICU. Description: We are seeking a Pediatric Critical Care Transport Nurse for a float pool position. Candidates must possess a California RN license and AHA BLS & PALS certifications. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a Pediatric or NICU unit is required. Candidates should have a pediatric critical care or pediatric emergency department background. Experience in charge and/or triage roles in pediatric or NICU settings for at least 2 years is essential. Knowledge of EMTALA regulations is preferred. Prior experience in a transfer center or transport nursing is desirable. The ability to float to various facilities is necessary. Candidates must have undergone recent travel nursing assignments within the last 12 months. Prior teaching hospital experience is preferred. Candidates must have received the COVID-19 vaccine and booster, with exemptions only for medical or religious reasons.
