DCS Engineer ( Remote) Cognizant's Digital Engineering We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated DSC Engineer o join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in managing the implementation and maintenance of Emerson's DeltaV automation system within our life science manufacturing and research environments. **Cognizant will only consider applicants for this position who are legally authorized to work in the United States** Salary and Other Compensation: Applications will be accepted until May 29th, 2025. The annual salary for this position is between $95,000 - $109,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. Key Responsibilities: Experience with DeltaV: Proven experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining DeltaV systems. Industry Knowledge: Experience in the life science industry (pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical, or biotechnology). Automation Knowledge: Strong understanding of automation principles, including , PLCs, and other automation technologies. Validation and Compliance: Knowledge of relevant validation and compliance standards (e.g., cGMP, GAMP 5, 21 CFR Part 11). Project Management: Strong project management skills, including planning, scheduling, and resource allocation. Technical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot technical issues. Communication and Collaboration: Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills. Compliance and Validation: Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards (e.g., cGMP, GAMP 5) through proper validation and documentation. Support and Maintenance: Provide ongoing support and maintenance for the DeltaV system, addressing issues and ensuring optimal performance. Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., operations, IT, quality) to integrate DeltaV into the overall manufacturing or research process. Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities within the DeltaV system and related processes. Training: Train operators and engineers on the DeltaV system. Qualifications:

• Proven experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining DeltaV systems.
• Extensive experience in the life science industry.
• Strong understanding of automation principles.
• In-depth knowledge of relevant standards.
• Demonstrated project management skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
