multilingual school community. Position: The Student Learning
Coordinator embodies the concept of student-centered learning,
supporting and articulating students’ needs and experiences in our
vibrant bilingual environment to help every student reach their
potential. Reporting to the Principal and working collaboratively
across PK2-grade 5, the Coordinator tracks and works directly with
students, particularly those with specific learning needs as well
as gifted students. The Coordinator oversees student support
structures and key processes such as standardized testing to ensure
that students’ individual needs are met. In the Maternelle, the
Coordinator is a key partner in identifying and providing early
intervention for students of concern, and in the Lower School, the
Coordinator provides programming to enhance our rigorous bilingual
program, developing the strengths of all students. The Coordinator
works closely with the Director of Student Support and the learning
specialists to ensure documentation and implementation of learning
plans and student progress. Focus and Responsibilities: Develop and
deliver enrichment programming for gifted and talented students in
the Lower School Organize and oversee student support structures
such as study hall, co-teaching, and academic support staff
Maintain a strong presence on both the Maternelle and Lower School
campuses Collaborate with the section team and leadership,
especially in the Maternelle, in identifying students with specific
learning needs and initiating appropriate follow-up Collaborate
with the Maternelle counselor and other colleagues as appropriate
in providing Tier I and II interventions for PK students Plan and
oversee the administration of standardized testing in the Lower
School Collaborate with leadership and faculty in the analysis of
student progress data, particularly standardized test data and
neurodiversity screening tools, bringing an understanding of each
individual student to ensure responsiveness to identified needs
Maintain strong communication with classroom faculty, other
colleagues, and families to track the progress of students of
concern and those receiving targeted interventions or enrichment,
to ensure thorough follow-through Collaborate with the
Instructional Coordinator to drive pedagogical improvements rooted
in students’ experiences and outcomes Support the Director of
Student Support with documentation and other organizational tasks
for students with learning differences Facilitate and enhance
student organizations such as student council, Green Team, and
other opportunities for students to develop leadership skills and
exercise their voices Collaborate with the Principal and Assistant
Principals to deliver parent education on key topics such child
development, neurodiversity, and other areas Perform supervisory
and operational duties as assigned by the Principal and Assistant
Principals, including morning care, recess supervision, dismissal,
study hall, and substitute coverage Key qualities: Ability to work
independently and as part of a team in a diverse, fast-paced,
multilingual educational environment A deep knowledge of child
development, particularly in the early childhood years Facility
with working with students in a range of learning environments,
both in formal classrooms and beyond Strong knowledge of learning
and behavioral interventions, particularly for preschool children
Contagious enthusiasm for continuous learning Excellent
organizational skills to support effective tracking of the needs of
each child An ability to communicate effectively in multiple
formats with a wide range of stakeholders A laser focus on each
student’s growth and development Bachelor’s degree or equivalent is
required; advanced degree preferred Must be eligible to work in the
U.S. Strong experience in Early Childhood and lower school
education Bilingualism in French strongly preferred This is a
full-time, year-round salaried position reporting to the Principal.
Salary range is $90,000 - $110,000 depending on experience. HOW TO
