Support students with special needs in a dynamic K-12 education environment within El Dorado County. This contract position is ideal for paraprofessionals skilled in behavior support and classroom assistance, serving a diverse range of student needs across multiple locations from El Dorado Hills to Lake Tahoe. Key Responsibilities: Provide dedicated support in classrooms with moderate to severe behavior challenges. Work closely with students requiring 1:1 assistance as well as support in larger group settings. Collaborate with teachers and support staff to implement behavior intervention plans. Maintain a safe and supportive learning environment for students with high behavioral needs. Utilize training in CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) and CPR to manage and support student safety. Adapt to various school settings primarily located in El Dorado Hills, Shingle Springs, Placerville, and Camino. Qualifications: Active CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) certification. Current CPR certification. Experience working with students who have moderate to severe behavioral challenges. Ability to provide both individualized and group support. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Flexibility to work across multiple school locations within El Dorado County.
