This position is for a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) serving students in a K-12 school environment located in Oakland, CA. The role is a contract position for the current school year (CSY) and offers an opportunity to support speech and language services in a dynamic educational setting. Key Responsibilities: - Assist certified speech-language pathologists in implementing treatment plans. - Support students with speech, language, and communication needs. - Document student progress and participate in collaborative team meetings. - Contribute to creating a supportive and effective learning environment. Desired Qualifications: - Previous experience working in schools preferred. - Bilingual Spanish skills are preferred but not required. - Ability to work effectively with diverse student populations. - Strong communication and organizational skills.
