Job Description Job Description Assistant Project Manager/Project Engineer Job Title: Assistant Project Manager/Project Engineer - Electrical Construction Job Location: Sacramento, CA Salary: Competitive Salary DOE, Benefits, 401k Match Requirements: 1-3 Years Experience as a PE or APM for a electrical contractor Position Overview The Assistant Project Manager/Project Engineer will support project management activities and engineering tasks for construction projects. The role focuses on ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the desired quality standards while effectively collaborating with team members and stakeholders. Key Responsibilities Assist in the planning and scheduling of project activities Monitor project budgets and expenditures Identify and manage project risks and issues Facilitate communication between team members and stakeholders Collaborate with construction teams to ensure project specifications are met Implement process improvements to enhance project efficiency Maintain thorough documentation of project progress and changes Utilize Agile methodologies for project management when appropriate Use Microsoft Project for scheduling and tracking project milestones Support electrical construction activities and ensure compliance with design specifications Create and modify project drawings using AutoCAD Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field 2 years of experience in project management or engineering roles with electrical contractor! Strong knowledge of scheduling and budgeting processes Experience in risk management and issue resolution Knowledge of quality control practices in construction Strong documentation and reporting skills Understanding of electrical construction processes is highly desirable Benefits Salary $70,000 - 110,000 DOE Vacation/PTO Medical Dental Profit Sharing Bonus 401k Vehicle Perks Phone, laptop etc. Additional Perks - For this position, you must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship for a non-immigrant visa.
