Job Description Job Description Job Title: Branch Manager Worksite Street Address: 1111 South El Camino Real, San Mateo, CA 94401 - ON SITE Hours and shift: Monday to Friday 9:30 AM - 6:30 PM Rotating Saturdays Anticipated Duration: Full Time Pay Rate: $36.00 - $51.00/hr Branch Manager (Full-Service Bank Branch) The Branch Manager is responsible for the overall leadership, operations, sales performance, compliance, and customer experience of a full-service bank branch. This is an in-office role. Key Responsibilities: Leadership & Team Development: Hire, train, coach, and develop branch staff Conduct regular one-on-ones and performance reviews Manage scheduling, performance, and staffing levels Foster a high-performance sales and service culture Sales & Growth: Drive deposit growth and branch profitability Develop and execute sales and community outreach strategies Coach team on cross-selling and relationship building Identify and pursue new business opportunities Operations & Compliance: Ensure compliance with all bank policies and state/federal regulations Oversee daily branch operations, audits, and reporting Monitor financial performance and expense control Maintain branch security and safety standards Customer Experience: Deliver and model exceptional customer service Resolve complex account and client issues Strengthen client relationships and retention Community Involvement: Represent the bank in local business and community organizations Participate in CRA-related volunteer activities Qualifications: 7 years banking experience; 5 years branch management Proven sales performance and branch growth Experience managing complex business and consumer accounts Strong leadership, communication, and coaching skills Proficient in Microsoft Office and banking systems Active community involvement preferred Notary Public preferred Valid California driver’s license and reliable transportation required Travel is primarily local with occasional overnight travel.
