You could handle matching invoices to purchase orders and/or vouchers, data entry, and assisting in the process of Accounts Payable (A/P) and Accounts Receivable (A/R), as the Accounting Clerk for this reputable business. What you get to do every single day

• 
  Assist accounts payable with vendor invoices and disbursement filing and with A/P invoice matching & filing
  
  
• 
  Resolve discrepancies by examining possible sources of disagreement, recreating likely actions, and identifying the effect on other accounts; generate correction documents as required
  
  
• 
  Assist Accounts Receivable with processing daily invoices/credit, applying cash receipts, and collecting past due balances
  
  
• 
  Assist with other related duties and special projects as assigned
  
  
• 
  Use knowledge of expenditure codes and accounting codes to accurately code documents
  
  
• 
  Perform general accounting tasks, such as G/L account reconciliation and month-end closing, and other ad hoc projects
  
  
• 
  Utilize a number of sources to create statements and reports
  
  
• 
  Use various methods to add financial information to journals and ledgers Requirements - Ability to multitask and attention to detail are critical
  
  
• 
  Spreadsheet and ERP system experience is ideal, but not required
  
  
• 
  Command of Bank Account Reconciliation
  
  
• 
  Accounts Payable (AP) experience
  
  
• 
  Foundational knowledge in data entry
  
  
• 
  Bank reconciliations experience
  
  
• 
  Proven knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  
  
• 
  SAP experience
  
  
• 
  2+ years of accounting experience required
  
  
• 
  AA or BS/BA in Accounting or related field preferred
