Job Description:

Position Summary:
Perform responsibilities in accordance with all Company standards, policies and procedures. Responsibilities include financial reporting and maintaining the General Ledger and Fixed Asset Systems. Oversee Staff Accountants and Accounts Payable Team Members.
Essential Functions:1. Responsible for practicing, supporting and promoting Graton Resort & Casino's Company-wide culture and demonstrating Graton Resort & Casino's Service Standards at all times.2. Assist management in review of department General Ledger and Financial Reports.3. Review and prepare month end journal entries.4. Provide information and reports to management in a timely and accurate manner.5. Ensure all policies and procedures are complied with for all expenditures.6. Reconcile balance sheet accounts.7. Hire and supervise Staff Accountants and Accounts Payable Team Members.8. Maintain timecards, schedules, and PTO of hourly team members.9. Ensure bank wires are punctual and on time.10. Promote positive team member relations at all times.11. Other job duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:1. Ability to communicate effectively with Guests, Team Members and Management in both written and verbal form.2. Three (3) to five (5) years of Accounting/Financial experience or related degree preferred.3. Excellent PC and spreadsheet skills.4. Ability to work independently.5. Good decision making abilities.6. Excellent communication skills.7. 10-key by touch.8. Prior experience preferred.9. Strong organizational skills. Detail oriented, innovative, flexible, task oriented, and can workindependently with minimal supervision.10. Prior gaming experience preferred.11. Must be flexible, able to handle multiple tasks, and establish priorities effectively.12. Must be able to obtain a gaming work card.13. Flexible work hours and schedule required.
Physical Requirements:1. Requires normal, corrective vision range, the ability to see color and the ability to distinguish letters, numbers and symbols.2. Ability to lift up to 20 pounds with or without assistance.3. Ability to stand or sit for prolonged periods of time.4. Ability to bend, stand, lift, push, carry and pull.
